They gaze at each other like it’s their wedding day. Onlookers congratulate them as they walk by on the busy downtown streets. Totally absorbed with each other, you would never think it’s not their engagement session. It’s actually their four year wedding anniversary, and they are more in love with each other than they ever were. They were walking around holding hands, laughing, and enjoying their drink from Room 86, a prohibition-inspired bar amid chandeliers & vintage woodwork.
I’m holding my camera thinking to myself how great it’s to witness such beautiful interactions between two people. Their smiles are contagious, and we can’t help but to enjoy ourselves too. It makes me realize once more that we can make any anniversary special, we don’t have to wait for a specific number of years. The memories you make along the way are so important. They become like building blocks, all valuable.
Karen and Ismael, it was so nice to meet you and help you plan this anniversary photo shoot. Wish you many, many more to come. Keep those beautiful smiles going. We appreciate you and your trust in us!
